Developer begins sales of new luxury condo tower units

The Ronto Group, a Naples-based property developer, has opened a sales center on the site of its latest project: Altura Bayshore, a 22-story, 73-unit luxury condo tower that will overlook South Tampa’s iconic Bayshore Boulevard.

According to a press release, Ronto Group has developed a virtual-reality video preview of the completed project, whose residences will range in size from 2,176 to 3,575 square feet and will be priced between $1 million and $2.9 million. Each unit will offer access via private elevator.

Nearly the entire roof of the building, located at 2910 W. Barcelona St., will be developed as a social lounge, complete with cabanas, bar, grills and pool. Residents will also have access to pickle ball courts, fenced dog park, bocce ball courts and putting green.

“We are using the most advanced video technology to give future residents a vivid view of their future homes,” Ronto Group owner Anthony Solomon states in the release. “We can select individual residences and fly buyers through the space so they can see their living rooms, kitchens and balconies — as well as the one-of-a-kind rooftop pool and cabana space. This is truly a fantastic way for buyers to envision living in Altura Bayshore.”

Krista Maddox and Lisa O’Connor of Smith & Associates Real Estate are heading up sales, the release states.

Ronto’s past projects on the Gulf Coast include 624 Palm in Sarasota; Paramount at Gulf Harbour; the Shores of Gulf Harbour; Forest Glen Naples; Key Marco and Hideaway Beach on Marco Island.

Altura Bayshore opens sales gallery for new luxury tower

Altura Bayshore, Tampa’s newest luxury condominium tower, has opened its new on site sales center and will be providing private presentations to future residents of the tower overlooking Bayshore Boulevard.

“We are using the most advanced video technology to give future residents a vivid view of their future homes,” said Anthony Solomon, owner of The Ronto Group, in a statement.  “We can select individual residences and fly buyers through the space so they can see their living rooms, kitchens and balconies – as well as the one-of-a-kind rooftop pool and cabana space.  This is truly a fantastic way for buyers to envision living in Altura Bayshore.”

The Altura Bayshore tower will rise 22 stories, with residences ranging from approximately $1 million to $2.9 million for a variety of homes spanning 2,176 to 3,575 square feet, each one with a private elevator foyer entrance.

Earlier in December, The Ronto Group named Krista Maddox and Lisa O’Connor of Smith & Associates Real Estate to represent the project at the sales center.

Living in luxury: Another high-rise condo is coming to South Tampa

A developer unveiled plans for a luxury condo tower along Bayshore Boulevard, called “Altura on Bayshore.”

Ronto Group, a Naples-based developer, said the goal is for it to become one of the premiere luxury towers in South Tampa. On Thursday morning, the company released a virtual video, revealing what each condo will look like.

It will feature 22 stories with 73 condos and six penthouses. The tower will also include an elaborate rooftop lounge, as well as a pool area.

Prices will range from $1 million to $2.9 million. 

The condos will offer views of the Hillsborough Bay to the east and views of South Tampa to the west. Each unit will also have its own private elevator service.

The Ronto Group has not revealed a timeline for pre-sales or construction. If you’re interested in learning more about Altura on Bayshore, you can visit the on-site sales gallery on West Barcelona Street. It’s open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Sunday from noon to 5 p.m.

Naples developer proposes 22-story condo tower on site of stalled project off Bayshore Boulevard

A Naples developer says it is planning to build luxury condos on the site of a long-stalled apartment tower.

Ronto Group said Wednesday that it is planning to build Altura Bayshore, a 73-unit, 22-story condo tower on the surface parking at 2907 S. Ysabella Ave., adjacent to the office building at Bayshore and Bay-to-Bay boulevards.

The units will range from 2,176 to 3,575 square feet, with pricing from the “low” $1 millions to $2.9 million. Smith & Associates Real Estate is the listing agent on the project.

Ronto Group did not reveal a timeline for beginning presales, breaking ground or tentative completion date for the tower.

In 2016, Tampa’s Skyway Capital Partners LLC proposed a 22-story tower with 168 apartments on that same property. Skyway paid $11.25 million for both in September 2015; Ronto paid $5.4 million for the 1.77-acre vacant lot in November 2018.

Skyway’s tower never materialized, but the city signed off on the necessary rezoning for a residential building on that property in 2016, paving the way for Altura.

The Altura proposal comes on the heels of several other Bayshore condo towers proposed or under construction. The site is two blocks from The Sanctuary at Alexandra Place, which broke ground earlier this year, and less than a mile from where Kolter Group plans to build a luxury tower named Hyde Park House.

The tower’s rooftop will be a “social lounge” for residents, featuring a sunset terrace, complete with cabanas, bar, grills and rooftop pool.

Rooftop activation is becoming a common trend in Tampa Bay high rise development. Water Street Tampa has built a central cooling facility to free up the rooftops within its district, making way for elevated bars, dog parks, pools and more. In Midtown Tampa, a dual-flag Aloft and Element hotel will feature a rooftop lounge, as will the new Current hotel on Rocky Point.
