Phase One parking structure largely complete as foundation construction is underway for the 23-story tower overlooking Bayshore Boulevard.
TAMPA (March 2, 2022) – With construction now well underway, the Altura Bayshore luxury condominium tower has attracted a rush of sales, including more than $20 million worth of condominiums placed under contract in the last 60 days, on top of $60 million in sales before foundation work on the tower began last year.
Construction crews are busy at the Altura Bayshore construction site, finishing details on a phase-one parking structure that will include an expansive owner-only rooftop amenity deck. Crews are now significantly underway on the condo tower itself, drilling foundation pillars, connecting utility lines and preparing vertical construction.

With this activity across the site, developers have moved an on-site sales gallery to the offices of Smith & Associates Realty on Bay to Bay Boulevard. Meanwhile, a full-scale sales center at 3106 W. Bay to Bay is under construction that will feature a full-service selections gallery for future residents to choose their appliances, flooring, lighting and other custom details to make their space home.
Altura Bayshore’s sales progress reflects the especially strong real estate market, with particular demand among buyers for high-quality, luxury properties along Florida’s Gulf Coast.
“We are finding buyers – especially in the luxury realm – are wonderfully well-informed and they know what they are looking for,” said Anthony Solomon, owner of The Ronto Group. “All the more importantly, this demand is coming from buyers both within Florida and residents from out of state who are attracted to Florida’s economic climate, new company relocations and weather.”
For example, The Ronto Group’s Infinity tower in Bonita Springs has logged $180 million in sales. Ronto’s Omega tower at Bonita Bay has sales valued at more than $212 million with only 11 residences remaining. The Ronto Group’s 1111 Central development attracted 12 sales in January alone worth more than $33 million. A future beachfront project in Old Naples will arise, as will Rosewood Residences, located on Lido Key, now taking reservations.
At Altura Bayshore, the first three levels of the tower boast a private lobby, reception area, and welcome concierge desk. A separate, access-controlled, resident-only parking garage provides privacy and security, as well as electric vehicle charging options. The condominium owners will have a 4th level owner-only amenity deck that includes a dog park, pickleball courts, bocce courts, outdoor pavilion, bar and other popular features for the exclusive use of condominium owners.
Altura Bayshore, in particular, offers “thru-unit” floorplans that include window and balcony views on both sides of the building – if not three sides – so residents can see the sun rise over South Tampa in the east and the sunset over Hillsborough Bay to the West.
Altura Bayshore is the sole tower along Bayshore Boulevard with a one-of-a-kind rooftop experience, complete with a pool with lap lane, rows of cabanas and lounges, outdoor bar, and a Clubroom with fireplace, bar, large seating areas and a sunset terrace on the west side of the roof. The wrap-around rooftop layout means residents will have views of Hillsborough Bay and Bayshore Boulevard to the east, western sunset views toward Old Tampa Bay, northern views of Downtown Tampa, and views to the south.
Altura Bayshore will be a dramatic, new 23-story tower overlooking Tampa’s Bayshore Boulevard, with residences ranging from $1.5 million to $3.6 million for the various homes spanning 2,176 to 3,575 square feet – each one reached via a private elevator foyer.
The exclusive realtor, Smith & Associates Realty, will meet with interested prospects at its realty office at 3801 W. Bay to Bay Blvd. for the next several weeks. Appointments are encouraged. In addition, the Ronto Group has secured and is renovating a permanent sales gallery site at 3106 W. Bay to Bay Blvd., just west of South MacDill Avenue, and anticipates opening soon.
